Things
to Do:
 |
It's
time to plant pansies for winter color and a beautiful spring display. |
 |
Plant
spring blooming bulbs like daffodils, tulips, crocus, and grape
hyacinth. It's a great time to plant trees and get started
on the summer shade that you've been needing. |
 |
You
can plant perennials that are hardy in your zone. Avoid
putting out tender perennials this time of year. |
 | Make
sure you have checked all of your trees that are staked and replaced any
ties that are tight. Rapid trunk growth takes place in the fall and
tight ties will strangle your tree. |
 | If
it hasn't rained recently in your area, be sure to give everything a good
drink. |
 | This
is the time of year when God mulches everything with dry leaves. Feel
free to mulch your beds with the mulch of your choice. |
